Liquid black as it is normally called is obtained from the edible nut of a palm fruit. In East Africa , it is known as “MAFUTA YA MITENDE” amongst the Swahili. In west Africa, it is known locally as “UDE AKI” amongst the Igbos, and “ADI DUDU” amongst the Yorubas, “MMAYANYA” amongst the Efik and ” MALANDE” amongst the Hausas.
Black palm kernel oil is a highly saturated oil which is loaded with antioxidants which nourishes the hair and skin.
